DC Statehood
More than half a million people live in the District of Columbia. As they are citizens of the United States, there is no justification to deny them the representation in our government that all other U.S. citizens have. There also is no justification in preventing D.C. residents from enacting local laws that don't require Congressional oversight.
Creating a new state from the residential areas would fix this injustice.
As your constituent, I am requesting that you give your full support to the Washington, D.C. Admission Act
